Week 12 saw the underdogs win six of the seven games this week, all in convincing fashion. And we also saw our first team clench a playoff berth this week. Let's take a look at Week 12.
Captain Morgan showed up and beat their projected point total, rolling to a 70.88 point win over Fowler's Heathens, who fell short of projections. The matchup was decided almost as soon as it started, as Captain Morgan grabbed a 53.30-point lead on Thursday behind outstanding efforts from Amon-Ra St. Brown and CeeDee Lamb. St. Brown scored 32.9 points, while Lamb added 22.7 points. Jonathan Taylor (18.8 points) and Bryce Perkins (12.4 points) led the way for Fowler's Heathens in the loss. Captain Morgan (3-9) will look to earn another W against Team Pup-N-Suds, while Fowler's Heathens (7-5) will attempt to get back on track against Fueled By Ayahuasca.
While they posted only the 12th-highest point total in the league for the week, Autodraft Bitches earned a 38.84 point win over Car Ramrod. Autodraft Bitches never trailed in this one after earning a 2.68-point lead on Thursday behind Jamaal Williams (10.6 points) and Dalvin Cook (9.6). Daniel Jones (17.52 points) and Isiah Pacheco (15.6 points) were the leaders for Car Ramrod in the loss. Autodraft Bitches (3-9) will look to notch another win against SMILF, while Car Ramrod (5-7) will face Ginger Lightning in an effort to right the ship.
Leknid Lunatics cruised to a 29.82 point win to hand Ginger Lightning their third straight loss. Leknid Lunatics got out to an early 29.52-point lead on Thursday. Ginger Lightning came back to take the lead early Sunday, powered by the Miami Dolphins defense (18 points) and Tua Tagovailoa (17.96). Unphased, Leknid Lunatics pulled it together later that afternoon, as James Conner (26 points) and DK Metcalf (20 points) put them back in the lead for good. Leknid Lunatics (5-7) will look to sustain their momentum against The Dictatorship, while Ginger Lightning (6-6) will attempt to generate some positive momentum against Car Ramrod.
Hampered by a goose egg from Darnell Mooney, Houston Dinkel were unable to overcome Dinkel 3.16, which came back to earn a 14.54 point victory. Dinkel 3.16 trailed 124.52-109.06 heading into Sunday night, but the squad roared back behind Christian Watson, who scored 30 points. Tee Higgins (29.4 points) and Nick Chubb (25.2 points) did everything they could for Houston Dinkel in defeat. Dinkel 3.16 (8-4) will look to add to their success against STL House Centipedes, while Houston Dinkel (7-5) attempt to develop some positive momentum against All 2 Whales.
Team Pup-N-Suds extended their win streak to four games and secured their place in the playoffs with a hard-fought victory over All 2 Whales, emerging victorious with a 11.56 point win. It was the fourth straight loss for All 2 Whales. Team Pup-N-Suds never trailed in this one after earning a 16.70-point lead on Thursday behind Rhamondre Stevenson (21.2 points) and Saquon Barkley (15.2). Josh Jacobs (57.3 points) and Derek Carr (28.8 points) did their part for All 2 Whales in the loss. Team Pup-N-Suds (10-2) will look to build on their success against Captain Morgan, while All 2 Whales (3-9) will face Houston Dinkel in an effort to get back in the win column.
The Dictatorship extended their win streak to three games with a hard-fought victory over Fueled By Ayahuasca, emerging victorious with a 10.52 point win. The Dictatorship leapt out to a 45.54-point lead on Thursday behind stellar performances from Justin Jefferson (34.34 points) and T.J. Hockenson (15.3 points) and never looked back. Justin Herbert (34.76 points) and Aaron Jones (18.9) were the leading performers for Fueled By Ayahuasca in the loss. The Dictatorship (7-5) will look to keep it rolling against Leknid Lunatics, while Fueled By Ayahuasca (7-5) will try to develop some positive momentum against Fowler's Heathens.
SMILF earned a hard-fought victory over STL House Centipedes, coming out on top with a 8.88 point win. STL House Centipedes grabbed a 1.10-point lead on Thursday, but SMILF held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Jalen Hurts, who scored 39.82 points, and Jared Goff, who added 21.6 points. Trevor Lawrence (35.94 points) and Amari Cooper (17.4 points) carried the flag for STL House Centipedes in the loss. SMILF (6-6) will look to sustain their winning ways against Autodraft Bitches, while STL House Centipedes (7-5) try to get back in the win column against Dinkel 3.16.

This week's challenge was That Good Strong D and went to the team with the top defense. That team was Ginger Lightning, who got 18 points from the Miami Defense. Next week is Showcase Showdown and goes to the team that scores closest to their projected total. If that had been the challenge this week, The Dictatorship would have won by scoring 142.64 points out of the 143.26 points projected, missing the projected total by 0.62 points.

Waiver Wire Adds
Getting down to the end of the season, so there isn't much left out on the wire. Let's take a look at some admittedly limited options
QB - Jordan Love, Trevor Siemian
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5ba43a_9d414272a857401583c931453b01f4b3~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_500,h_500,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/5ba43a_9d414272a857401583c931453b01f4b3~mv2.png)
Both of these backup quarterbacks are question marks going in to Week 13. Jordan Love came in in relief of an injured Aaron Rodgers and put together a decent outing of 6 for 9 pass attempts with 113 yards and touchdown. If Rodgers can't go, Jordan Love will start for the Packers. For Trevor Siemian, his Week 12 was a little rougher, but if Justin Fields can't go again, Siemian should get another start for the Bears.
WR - Richie James Jr, Quez Watkins, Olamide Zaccheaus
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5ba43a_46703a7d44134778acaf8eeac3aca43c~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_500,h_500,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/5ba43a_46703a7d44134778acaf8eeac3aca43c~mv2.png)
Richie James Jr caught 5-6 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Week 12. The touchdown came in garbage time, but the Giants continue to have holes in the receiving corps so James will continue to get play. Quez Watkins was 3-5 for 35 yards and touchdown and seems to be filling the third option role traditionally held by Dallas Goedert. Olamide Zaccheaus went 5-8 for 91 yards in Week 12 and has continued to see an expanded role in the absence of Kyle Pitts.
RB - Tyler Allgeier, JaMycal Hasty, Travis Homer
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5ba43a_f343e1870e444a8ba3a288b3807d9052~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_500,h_500,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/5ba43a_f343e1870e444a8ba3a288b3807d9052~mv2.png)
Tyler Allgeier saw 11 rushing attempts in Week 12 for 54 yards and his second consecutive game over 50 yards. Cordarelle Patterson is still the top back in Atlanta but Allgeier has carved out a role as a solid RB2 in that offense. JaMycal Hasty came in in relief of Travis Etienne and had 12 rushes for 18 yards and added five receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown. Travis Homer rushed twice for eight yards and caught two of three targets for 45 yards and touchdown.
TE - Jelani Woods, Jordan Akins
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5ba43a_3765af5f44e04e129df5daf553da46af~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_500,h_500,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/5ba43a_3765af5f44e04e129df5daf553da46af~mv2.png)
Jelani Woods was 8-9 targets for 98 yards and a touchdown in Week 12. Woods made his presence known as he soaked up targets in the middle of the field. Jordan Akins was five for five on targets for a team high 61 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 and looks to have wrestled away the starting position in Houston.
Week 13 has two teams on bye so plan accordingly and adjust your lineups.
