It's Rivalry Week and the last week of the regular season. Some extra bragging rights involved this week!
100% That Commish vs Team Pup-N-Suds
It's a Week 1 rematch between two of the original members of Shock & Awe FFL. 100% That Commish won the first matchup 181.82 to 157.16 and from there started cruising throughout the league to grab a 10-3 record and clench a playoff berth. 100% That Commish will now need one more win to secure their seeding in the playoffs next week. Meanwhile, after a Week 1 loss, Team Pup-N-Suds had a pretty bumpy ride throughout the season, going 3-10 and looking at a bottom place record. While they aren't looking at the playoffs this season, Team Pup-N-Suds can still play spoiler and will hope to make some noise in the consolation bracket. It's a matchup between two founding members of the league with bragging rights up for grabs.
DINKEL 3.16 vs Doc Browns Toilet Bowl
It's a battle for the last spot in the playoffs and the top of the division in this Week 14 matchup. DINKEL 3.16 fell in Week 1, losing 107.08 to 155.52. They had a rough patch during the season, but they've made a late season push to grab the division lead. DINKEL 3.16 now faces off against their last obstacle, Doc Browns Toilet Bowl. While they had a strong showing to start the season, Doc Browns Toilet Bowl has been spiraling. A strong win in Week 13 has them now perched to grab the last playoff spot. This matchup actually has some true stakes, and is definitely one to keep an eye on in Week 14.
Ginger Lightning vs Autodraft Bitches
It's the consolation matchup in the Pats vs Pats division for these two long standing rivals. Ginger Lightning took the first game in this duel, winning 206.18 to 171.21. Ginger Lightning looked poised to make yet another run to the championship with a 2-1 record to start the season. From there, they went on to post a meager 4-9 record and firmly sit outside the playoff picture for the first time in their history in the league. Joining them on the outside looking in is Autodraft Bitches. While they rose to the occasion a couple of times, Autodraft Bitches also managed to only grab four wins on the season, and hold the dubious honor of winless in their division. It's a Hail Mary attempt for the underdog to at least get a victory in the division, but both teams are only fighting for seeding in the consolation bracket.
Captain Morgan vs SMILF
Both teams have clenched a playoff spot, but that doesn't make the matchup any less exciting. SMILF won their inaugural matchup in the league 175.02 to 129.98 and went on to terrorize the league, putting up an impressive 11-2 record and going undefeated in divisional play. Now SMILF will look to secure the undefeated divisional record with this Week 14 matchup. Standing in their way is Captain Morgan, who also has a playoff spot and is now just playing for seeding. A late season win could help Captain Morgan move up the seed line and also help them gain momentum into the playoffs. This one has lower stakes, but stakes none the less.
Leknid Lunatics vs Houston Dinkel
It's another matchup with huge stakes in this Week 14 battle. Leknid Lunatics lost the first matchup, but has gone on to win all of their division matches since then. Sitting at 8-5 overall, Leknid Lunatics clenched their playoff spot in Week 13 with another big win. But the ghost of a 195.96 to 118.12 defeat in Week 1 still haunts their record. Houston Dinkel, the winner of that Week 1 matchup, also boasts a 4-1 division record and went 9-4 overall. Houston Dinkel has held the top spot in the division all season. But with both teams sitting at the same division record, this matchup has big implications for the playoffs and seeding.
Keeping Up with the Jones' vs The Dictatorship
This Week 14 contest features two teams with identical records across the board. While Keeping Up with the Jones' won the Week 1 matchup 137.06 to 107.12, they went on to only grab one more division wins and a 5-8 overall record. Keeping Up with the Jones' grabbed the top of the division a couple of times, but the hold was tenuous as they now find themselves looking at the consolation bracket. Also staring down a bottom half finish is The Dictatorship. While also boasting a 5-8 record and 2-3 in the division, The Dictatorship hasn't had the same luck at the top of the division, riding a very up and down season. While neither team is looking at the playoffs, there's still some revenge narrative to watch as this game progresses.
