Championship Quarterfinals
These two teams have already met twice this season with split results. In Week 1, Dinkel 3.16 was the early victor over SMILF, winning that first matchup by 37.2 points. In Week 1, Josh Allen and D'Andre Swift were the top performers for Dinkel 3.16, combining for 76.98 points. For SMILF, it was Ja'Marr Chase and Jalen Hurts leading the charge. The roles were reversed in Week 14, with SMILF beating Dinkel 3.16 by 39.04 points. Jalen Hurts once again helped lead the charge for SMILF but Jared Goff also proved to be a revelation. Dinkel 3.16 was led by Tyreek Hill and Ryan Tannehill in the late season loss. This feels like a true toss up based on past matchups. Can Dinkel 3.16 get back that Week 14 win? Or will SMILF prove that their big end of season win wasn't a fluke?
The Dictatorship vs STL House Centipedes
These teams faced off in Week 5 and STL House Centipedes got the win that week to stop a three game losing streak. Since then both of these teams have had their ups and downs, with The Dictatorship going on a five game win streak of their own to end the regular season. In their only matchup this season, STL House Centipedes won the day behind a combined 62.9 points from Travis Kelce and Alvin Kamara. The Dictatorship only lost by 0.36 points that week, one of the smallest margins of victory on the season. Geno Smith and Justin Jefferson were the driving force for The Dictatorship that week. Both of these teams are pretty evenly matched and will look to take an early advantage in this matchup. Can The Dictatorship show that their early season loss was a fluke? Or will STL House Centipedes continue to ride the hot streak?
Consolation Quarterfinals
These two teams faced off in Week 12 with Leknid Lunatics coming out on top. Ginger Lightning lost the first matchup by 29.82 points. Both of these teams were limited in winning streaks this season, but only one comes in to this matchup off a win, with Ginger LIghtning having the better overall record on the season. Leknid Lunatics had a chance in Week 14 but couldn't quite hold on to the lead. This first matchup in the consolation bracket is just for bragging rights. Can Ginger Lightning get back their win, or does Leknid Lunatics have their number?
Fowler's Heathens were successful in the Week 11 matchup against All 2 Whales, winning by 55.48 points. It was Fowler's Heathens' lone win mixed in with four losses to end the season, and was also the third loss of four for All 2 Whales, who ended the season on a two game winning streak. Both of these teams came in to the season with postseason hopes but will have to settle for battling it out in the consolation bracket once again. Can Fowler's Heathens pull out another win, or will All 2 Whales show that their winning streak extends in to the postseason?
Good luck to all playing in Week 15!
