The quarterfinals are in the rearview mirror and there were some good matchups as teams jostled for a spot in the semifinals and an opportunity to win the belt this season. In the consolation bracket, teams battled for nothing more than glory, with predictable results. Let's take a look at the quarterfinal week.
Dinkel 3.16 exceeded expectations, cruising to a 62.48 point victory over SMILF, who fell short of projections. SMILF took an 8.90-point lead on Thursday, but Dinkel 3.16 held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Josh Allen (50.86 points) and Dawson Knox (22.8). Jalen Hurts (43.7 points) and Jared Goff (20.08) led the way for SMILF in the loss. This marks the second time this season Dinkel 3.16 have taken down SMILF, after falling 157.88-118.84 in their last matchup. Dinkel 3.16 will look to clinch a spot in the championship next week against Fueled By Ayahuasca, while SMILF will attempt to bounce back against The Dictatorship and lock up 5th Place.
STL House Centipedes outperformed their projected point total, rolling to a 22.22 point victory over The Dictatorship. The Dictatorship nabbed a 17.32-point lead on Thursday, but STL House Centipedes held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Trevor Lawrence (44.82 points) and Justin Fields (27.58 points). Justin Jefferson (35.3 points) and David Montgomery (24.1) were the top scorers for The Dictatorship in the loss. This marks the second time this season STL House Centipedes have knocked off The Dictatorship, after winning 145.26-144.9 in their last matchup. STL House Centipedes will look to clinch a spot in the finals next week in a matchup against Team Pup-N-Suds, while The Dictatorship seek to bounce back and finish the season with a win in the 5th Place game against SMILF.
Both teams stepped up and beat their projected point totals, but it was Ginger Lightning who came out on top, securing a 11.98 point victory over Leknid Lunatics. Leknid Lunatics earned a 55.60-point lead on Thursday behind impressive efforts from George Kittle, who scored 29.3 points, and Tyler Lockett (13.8 points). But Ginger Lightning held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Kirk Cousins (46.4 points) and Jaylen Waddle (29.4). This marks the first time this season Ginger Lightning have gotten the best of Leknid Lunatics, after falling 154.64-124.82 in their last matchup. Ginger Lightning improve to 8-7 for the season, while Leknid Lunatics fall to 5-10. Ginger Lightning will now move on to face Car Ramrod in the consolation bracket, while Leknid Lunatics will battle Fowler's Heathens for 11th place.
All 2 Whales came out on top with a 44 point victory to hand Fowler's Heathens their third consecutive loss. All 2 Whales took an early 1.00-point lead on Thursday. Fowler's Heathens came back to take the lead during the early games on Sunday, powered by Zach Wilson (34.38 points) and Andy Dalton (18.14). Not to be deterred, All 2 Whales made a run later that afternoon, as Tom Brady (29.58 points) and Derek Carr (20.24) put them back ahead once and for all. This marks the first time this season All 2 Whales have beaten Fowler's Heathens, after falling 135.46-79.98 in their last matchup. All 2 Whales improve to 6-9 for the season, while Fowler's Heathens fall to 7-8. All 2 Whales will move on to face Houston Dinkel in the consolation bracket, while Fowler's Heathens will take on Leknid Lunatics in the 11th place game.

The brackets have moved on to the semifinal rounds. In the championship bracket, top seed and preseason favorite Team Pup-N-Suds will face off against the 5 seed, newcomer STL House Centipedes in a Week 7 rematch, this time with an opportunity at the title on the line. On the other side of the bracket, the 3 seed Dinkel 3.16 faces off against reigning league champ, the second seeded Fueled By Ayahuasca in a rematch from Week 4.
The consolation bracket will now see 7 seed Houston Dinkel matchup with 11 seeded All 2 Whales, and 8 seed Car Ramrod taking on the 9 seed, Ginger Lightning.
