After the first week, we're at a a pretty easy split. 6 teams have one win, 6 teams have one loss. Very straightforward. This week, those teams who already secured their first victory will look to continue their streak, while those sitting in the loss column look to get back to .500.
100% That Commish vs Captain Morgan
It was a rough outing in Week 1 for Captain Morgan, who saw a combined 8.08 points between their two starting quarterbacks. While they will keep Matt Ryan in at quarterback this week, Jameis Winston makes the move from the bench to the starting roster after an impressive start against Green Bay last week. Captain Morgan will also hope that Tyreek Hill will continue being a fantasy points monster going in to a Sunday night matchup against Baltimore. Meanwhile, 100% That Commish sailed to victory last week thanks to the combined efforts of Tom Brady, Chris Godwin, and Jalen Hurts. No changes to the starting roster of 100% That Commish this week as they look to move to 2-0.
Doc Browns Toilet Bowl vs Keeping Up with the Jones'
Doc Browns Toilet Bowl was sparkling clean in Week 1 as Patrick Mahomes led all players in scoring to bring home the victory. Impressive efforts by rookie Ja'Marr Chase and Baker Mayfield in the two flex positions helped Doc Browns Toilet Bowl secure the Week 1 victory. They'll have a tough matchup this week against another 1-0 team in Keeping Up with the Jones'. Despite a surprising lack of effort from Aaron Jones and Aaron Rodgers in Week 1, Keeping Up with the Jones' was still able to come up with a victory, thanks in part to outstanding play from Adam Thielen and the recently rehomed Matt Stafford. It's the only Week 2 matchup between 1-0 teams. Who will move to 2-0, and who will fall to 1-0?
Autodraft Bitches vs Houston Dinkel
Sometimes, that autodraft roster just doesn't work out. That was the case for Autodraft Bitches, who fell to 0-1 last week, despite a decent showing from Tyrod Taylor, Keenan Allen, and Darren Waller. Sometimes, you just run into a buzzsaw, as was evidenced in Week 1. Autodraft Bitches will look to climb to .500 in Week 2 when they face off against Houston Dinkel. Houston Dinkel had an impressive blowout victory in Week 1, with the largest margin of victory and starting the season undefeated. Christian McCaffrey, Joe Mixon, and Rob Gronkowski all came up big for Houston Dinkel, and they'll need to continue that pace going in to Week 2 in order to finish 2-0.
DINKEL 3.16 vs The Dictatorship
Let's hope all the players score for both of these teams in Week 2. DINKEL 3.16 is coming off a very disappointing Week 1 loss where tight end Mike Gesicki laid a goose egg out on the field. Despite decent performances from Josh Allen and David Montgomery, the rest of the roster for DINKEL 3.16 was just a little pedestrian. They'll need a strong outing from rookie Najee Harris and standout wide receive Calvin Ridley this week to get a win. Meanwhile, The Dictatorship was unable to get Carson Wentz off the bench and in to the starting line up in time for the start of the Colts game on Sunday, leaving them to start Taysom Hill at quarterback. The Dictatorship also saw Brandon Aiyuk finish with 0 points. Despite Ceedee Lamb having a nice outing on Thursday night, this roster didn't see any other player break 20 points. Let's hope for better things from a team that includes Stefon Diggs, AJ Brown, and Derrick Henry. It's the only 0-1 vs 0-1 matchup this week, so someone has to win.
Ginger Lightning vs Leknid Lunatics
What happens when you take the highest scoring Week 1 team and have them face off against the team who had the largest margin of defeat? Anything is possible! Ginger Lightning was victorious in Week 1 thanks to a well rounded effort from the quarterback, wide receiver, tight end, and flex positions. With the addition of Noah Fant to the roster off waivers this week, Ginger Lightning will look to push that scoring lead out even farther against Leknid Lunatics. On the other side of the field, Leknid Lunatics will hope that running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Ty Johnson see better work loads in Week 2. Or hopefully Saquon comes back and can be inserted in to the starting line up. They might look to make a trade, since there are currently four quarterbacks on this roster.
Team Pup-N-Suds vs SMILF
Injuries happen, and no one knows that better already this year than Team Pup-N-Suds. Two starters in running back Raheem Mostert and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy have already hit the IR list for the year, leaving Team Pup-N-Suds looking to the waiver wire early for some roster help. They did have a strong Week 1 showing from Amari Cooper and Russell Wilson, and will look to continue that momentum, with the help of Lamar Jackson and Devonta Smith, in to a bounce back win in Week 2. However, they'll be going up against league newcomer SMILF, fresh off their first game in the league and their first win. SMILF saw big games from rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence and top tight end Travis Kelce. They will look to continue the win streak in Week 2 and see if they can move to 2-0.
