Week 2 Recap

100% That Commish

Week 2 saw quite a few big matchups, with five games being decided by double digits. With some come from behind victories, some early wins, and some heartbreaking defeats, Week 2 saw a big shakeup in the weekly standings already, with all 14 teams changing pole position.


In a Week 2 matchup, Fowler's Heathens showed no mercy as they steamrolled over Houston Dinkel with a score of 149.12 to 105.20. The victory came early on Sunday, leaving Houston Dinkel with no chance of a comeback. It's clear that Fowler's Heathens A+ grade was well deserved, while Houston Dinkel's D- grade left much to be desired. Fowler's Heathens' best player, Raheem Mostert, went above and beyond expectations, surpassing their projected 11.07 points and scoring an impressive 34.70 points. On the other hand, Fowler's Heathens' worst player, Trevor Lawrence, couldn't live up to their 24.52 point projection, only managing to score 10.24 points. As for Houston Dinkel, their best player, Mike Williams, exceeded their 14.05 point projection with 16.60 points, but it wasn't enough to turn the tides. Meanwhile, their worst player, Tua Tagovailoa, fell short of their 23.43 point projection, settling for just 15.26 points. With this win, Fowler's Heathens improves their record to 2-0-0 and maintains their second place standing. Houston Dinkel,on the other hand, drops to a 1-1-0 record and falls to fifth place in the league. It's clear that Fowler's Heathens is off to a strong start, while Houston Dinkel will need to step up their game to climb back up the standings. Perhaps a team name change is in order for Houston Dinkel? Looking ahead, Fowler's Heathens will face off against Car Ramrod in Week 3. With their dominant performance this week, Fowler's Heathens should enter the matchup with confidence. As for Houston Dinkel, they will take on Team Pup-N-Suds next week. It's crucial for Houston Dinkel to regroup and strategize if they want to bounce back from this defeat. Maybe it's time for some roster changes or a pep talk from the coach?


In a not-so-surprising turn of events, Team Pup-N-Suds completely outclassed Ginger Lightning in this Week 2 matchup. With a final score of 183.56 to 141.66, Team Pup-N-Suds secured a resounding victory. The win was sealed early on Thursday, leaving Ginger Lightning in the dust. Looks like Ginger Lightning's D+ grade wasn't enough to match up against Team Pup-N-Suds' A+ performance. While Ginger Lightning struggled to find consistency, they did have a few standout players. Keenan Allen exceeded expectations with an impressive 37.10 points, leaving their projected 16.91 points in the dust. Unfortunately, not all of Ginger Lightning's players could deliver. Zay Jones failed to meet their projected 11.39 points, scoring a disappointing 0.00 points. Team Pup-N-Suds' dominance in this matchup further solidifies their position in the league. With a record of 1-1-0, they currently stand at 9th place. On the other hand, Ginger Lightning's disappointing performance puts them at 0-2-0 and drops them to the 12th spot. Looks like Team Pup-N-Suds is on the rise while Ginger Lightning is still searching for their first win. Looking ahead, Team Pup-N-Suds will face off against Houston Dinkel in Week 3. With their impressive performance this week, Team Pup-N-Suds should feel confident heading into the matchup. As for Ginger Lightning, they will be up against SMILF. They'll need to regroup and strategize if they want to secure their first win of the season. Maybe it's time for Ginger Lightning to shake things up and make some bold lineup changes. Only time will tell if they can turn their luck around.


In a Week 2 matchup that left Car Ramrod seeing stars, ICT FC came out on top with a decisive victory. With a score of 137.02, ICT FC showed no mercy to Car Ramrod, who managed to put up only 117.50 points. It seems like ICT FC's A-grade performance was just too much for Car Ramrod's lackluster D+ effort. ICT FC's star player, Saquon Barkley, really showed up for the game, surpassing their projection of 17.21 points and scoring an impressive 27.20 points. On the other hand, ICT FC's worst player, Romeo Doubs, fell short of their 11.27 projection, only managing to score 5.00 points. As for Car Ramrod, their best player, Mike Evans, put on a show by beating their projection of 12.84 points and scoring a whopping 35.10 points. However, Car Ramrod's worst player, Nick Chubb, couldn't quite meet their 15.54 projection and only scored 6.40 points. With this win, ICT FC improves their record to 1-1-0 and currently sits at 11th place in the standings. Car Ramrod, on the other hand, also has a record of 1-1-0 but is slightly ahead of ICT FC in 10th place. It seems like ICT FC's victory has given them the edge in this matchup, but both teams still have a long way to go in the season. Will ICT FC be able to climb up the standings, or will Car Ramrod bounce back? Looking ahead to next week, ICT FC will face off against Witch Please. After their dominant performance this week, ICT FC should feel confident going into the matchup. However, they should still be cautious and make sure to analyze their lineup carefully. As for Car Ramrod, they will be going up against Fowler's Heathens. With their D+ grade this week, Car Ramrod will need to step up their game if they want to come out with a win. Maybe some extra practice and a little bit of luck will turn things around for them.


In a lopsided matchup, All 2 Whales crushed Leknid Lunatics with a score of 148.90 to 130.64. The winning team took the lead on Thursday and never looked back. With an impressive grade of A-, All 2 Whales showed no mercy to Leknid Lunatics, who received a lackluster grade of C-. Looks like the professor wasn't too impressed with Leknid Lunatics' performance. All 2 Whales' star player, D'Andre Swift, exceeded expectations by scoring 33.10 points, beating their projection by a whopping 22.19 points. Meanwhile, All 2 Whales' worst player, Calvin Ridley, fell short of their projection by a disappointing 10.76 points, scoring only 5.20 points. It seems like Calvin Ridley forgot to bring their A-game to the field. With this victory, All 2 Whales improves their record to 1-1-0 and climbs to 7th place in the standings. On the other hand, Leknid Lunatics continues their losing streak, dropping to 0-2-0 and slipping to 13th place. Looks like All 2 Whales has the upper hand in this rivalry. Looking ahead to next week, All 2 Whales will face off against STL House Centipedes. With their impressive performance this week, All 2 Whales should feel confident going into the matchup. As for Leknid Lunatics, they will be up against Captain Not-so-Morgan. It's time for Leknid Lunatics to regroup and come back stronger if they want to turn their season around.


In a battle of the grades, The Dictatorship came out on top, defeating Witch Please with a score of 139.74 to 125.78. The victory was sealed on Sunday Late, leaving Witch Please wondering what went wrong with their C-grade performance. Witch Please's best player, Jordan Addison, exceeded expectations and scored a solid 20.20 points, beating their projected score of 9.99. However, Breece Hall failed to live up to their 10.59 projection, managing only 0.90 points. On the other side, The Dictatorship's star player, Bijan Robinson, had a standout performance, surpassing their projected score of 13.73 with an impressive 26.20 points. Unfortunately, Ja'Marr Chase couldn't quite meet their 20.65 projection, settling for 8.10 points. With this win, The Dictatorship improved their record to 1-1-0, climbing to 6th place in the standings. Meanwhile, Witch Please's record now stands at 1-1-0, leaving them in 8th place. It seems like The Dictatorship is on the rise, while Witch Please has some work to do to catch up. Will they be able to turn things around? Looking ahead to next week, Witch Please will face off against ICT FC. After this week's performance, Witch Please will need to step up their game if they want to secure a victory. As for The Dictatorship, they will be taking on Autodraft Bitches. With their strong showing this week, The Dictatorship should be feeling confident heading into the matchup. Will they be able to keep up their winning streak?


In a result that no one saw coming, Autodraft Bitches beat STL House Centipedes in Week 2 with a final score of 133.98 to 127.08. A bit of a teacher's pet, Autodraft Bitches graded out at an A- this week, far exceeding the C- grade received by STL House Centipedes. STL House Centipedes' best player, Geogre Pickens, wildly exceeded expectations, blowing at the projected 11.48 points by scoring 31.70 points. Unfortunately, their worst player was Dalvin Cook, who only scored 0.2 points, a far cry from his projected 9.55 points. For Autodraft Bitches, they were led in victory by Devonta Smith, who doubled his projections and scored 33.10 points. Bringing up the rear for Autodraft Bitches was Juwan Johnson who only scored 3.30 points, not even half of his projected 7.32 points. With this win, Autodraft Bitches now finds themselves 2-0-0 and in 3rd place. For STL House Centipedes, their 0-2-0 record has them in last place. STL House Centipedes has their chance to pick up their first win of the season next week when they face off against All 2 Whales. Meanwhile, Autodraft Bitches will look to ride their two game win streak as they battle The Dictatorship.


In a matchup that came down to the wire, Captain Not-so-Morgan narrowly defeated SMILF in Week 2. Captain Not-so-Morgan, living up to their A-grade, scored 169.78 points, just edging out SMILF's 168.70. The win was sealed on Monday, leaving SMILF to wonder what could have been with their C+ grade. Captain Not-so-Morgan's best player of the week was Russell Wilson, who obliterated their projection by scoring a whopping 46.92 points. Meanwhile, Captain Not-so-Morgan's worst player was A.J. Brown, who fell far short of expectations with only 6.90 points. On the other side, SMILF's shining star was Kirk Cousins, who exceeded their projection with 45.56 points. Unfortunately, Jamaal Williams had a rough week for SMILF, scoring a measly 2.90 points. With this victory, Captain Not-so-Morgan maintains their perfect record of 2-0-0 and holds the top spot in the standings. SMILF, on the other hand, falls to a 1-1-0 record and sits in fourth place. It's still early in the season, but Captain Not-so-Morgan is off to a strong start while SMILF will need to bounce back in the coming weeks. Looking ahead to next week, Captain Not-so-Morgan will face off against Leknid Lunatics. Will they be able to continue their winning streak, or will Leknid Lunatics prove to be a formidable opponent? As for SMILF, they have a chance to redeem themselves in their matchup against Ginger Lightning. It's time for both teams to regroup, strategize, and make some moves to improve their chances of success.

Weekly Challenge - Fowler's Heathens


This week's Weekly Challenge was Big Summer Blowout and was given to the team with the largest margin of victory. Congrats to Fowler's Heathens, who had a 43.92 point victory in Week 2. Next week is Benchwarmers and goes to lowest bench score. If this had been the challenge in Week 2, ICT FC would have won, with only 25.8 points left on the bench.
