Week 2 saw some more teams get in the win column, some teams get their first loss, and some teams just kept pushing forward. As we get in to Week 3 and the end of the first set of divisional matchups, we see matchups between 2-0 teams, 0-2 teams, and 1-1 teams, plus of course some non-matching records going head to head.
SMILF vs 100% That Commish
SMILF came in to the league and just started wreaking havoc in their first two weeks. Cooper Kupp was the MVP for SMILF in Week 2, and they will hope for another repeat performance from that top wide receiver, plus more points from two Vikings in Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook. Meanwhile, they'll be going against another 2-0 team in 100% That Commish. A team that saw big games from veterans in Tom Brady and Davante Adams will hope for another big game from those two contributors, plus some more points out of Chris Godwin and Austin Ekeler. 100% That Commish will also need to find a better option at wide receiver than Corey Davis this week. Only one of these teams can go to 3-0 this week. Will it be the upstart newbie, or the three-time league champ?
Team Pup-N-Suds vs Captain Morgan
In the other Three Packs & A Pat matchup, two 0-2 teams face off, each hoping to finally get the loss monkey off their back and get in to the win column. Team Pup-N-Suds will need big games from quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson, plus a strong showing from Antonio Gibson. While they'll be without the services of Jerry Jeudy again this week, Team Pup-N-Suds has moved James White to the starting line up after a disappointing Week 2 from Elijah Mitchell. Over on the Captain Morgan roster, they'll continue to roll with Matt Ryan and Jameis Winston at quarterback. Tyreek Hill had a strong showing in Week 2, and Captain Morgan will hope for another spectacular outing to help boost them to a win. Who will move to 1-2, and who will go to 0-3?
Doc Browns Toilet Bowl vs The Dictatorship
It's a matchup of two .500 teams going in to Week 3. Doc Browns Toilet Bowl is coming off a monster beatdown in Week 2 and will be looking at Week 3 as a get right game. In a clear case of doubling down on a strong offense, Doc Browns Toilet Bowl decided to add yet another Chiefs wide receiver in Byron Pringle, after the loss of Antonio Brown to the COVID list. Across the field, The Dictatorship is coming off a strong Week 2 behind the monster league leading day from Derrick Henry. They'll need to continue that momentum, and possibly find a new quarterback with Carson Wentz questionable with two sprained ankles. The Dictatorship should look to make a trade or shop the waiver wire before the start of Week 3. Only one team can be 2-1 after this week. Who will it be?
Keeping Up with the Jones' vs DINKEL 3.16
Talk about a helluva way to get to 2-0 to start the season. Keeping Up with the Jones' went in to Week 2 already looking to win the week, but the combination of Aaron Jones and Aaron Rodgers on Monday night ensured them the win and the highest margin of victory in Week 2. Keeping Up with the Jones' will look to continue that win streak going in to Week 3, and hope that Tyler Higbee gives them a few more points this week versus last week. DINKEL 3.16 is staring down the barrel of an 0-2 start and is hoping to upset the current division leader and get a victory in Week 3. It's a strong core of Josh Allen, Calvin Ridley, and David Montgomery. A Week 2 victory looked within reach at first, and DINKEL 3.16 will hope that the fantasy gods look favorably on them this week and they can start out strong and continue to hold on for victory.
Leknid Lunatics vs Autodraft Bitches
It's 1-1 vs 0-2 in this Week 3 matchup. Leknid Lunatics barely eked out a Week 2 victory, winning by 1.2 points. They will look to continue that momentum as they go against the only winless team in their division. Can Justin Herbert and Saquon Barkley secure the victory for Leknid Lunatics? Or will Autodraft Bitches finally grab a win? They've been struck by the injury bug over and over, but they're hoping they've found a competent starting quarterback in Taylor Heinicke. Autodraft Bitches will hope to rise above their autodraft status and finally get a winning combination of Alvin Kamara and Nick Chubb to both get hot at the same time and bring them a win in Week 3. Could we see two 1-2 teams? Or will we see the underdog fall to 0-3?
Houston Dinkel vs Ginger Lightning
The current league leader looks to move to 3-0 as they battle another division foe this week. Houston Dinkel has continued to rely on Tyler Lockett to come up big in games, and will hope that his running mate DK Metcalf can also contribute in this Week 3 matchup. Houston Dinkel will also need their first round pick Christian McCaffrey to play well on Thursday night. Ginger Lightning is coming off a one point loss in Week 2 that saw them hit the loss column sooner than they had planned. They'll hope that Week 3 is their week to bounce back. A pair of quarterbacks in Kyler Murray and Dak Prescott will lead Ginger Lightning in Week 3 as they battle for the top spot in their division and a win over the current top of the league.
