Car Ramrod (1-2) vs Captain Morgan (0-3)
Two teams on losing streaks - ouch. Car Ramrod will look to their top three players to right the ship. Davante Adams ranks #31 and has 59.5 points so far, while Christian McCaffrey is also in the top 40, coming in at #39 with 57 points. Daniel Jones just misses out on the top 40 ranking, coming but #42 and 54.9 points isn't terrible. Captain Morgan has two top twenty players in #10 Amon-Ra St. Brown with 80.1 points and #17 Kyler Murray putting up 71.86 points. Michael Pittman Jr. rounds out the top three players for this squad, but is down at #62 and only 47.3 points. This is a must-win for both teams to get right and have some hope for this season. Can Captain Morgan get their first win of the season, or will Car Ramrod prove a roadblock?
The Dictatorship (3-0) vs Houston Dinkel (2-1)
Two teams on impressive winning streaks. The Dictatorship has yet to lose this year, thanks in large part to balanced scoring from three top 50 players, albeit all of them outside the top 25. Justin Jefferson leads the way at #26 and has 60.6 points, while Geno Smith is #37 with 57.18 points. Courtland Sutton comes in at #45 and has a nice 53.6 points so far this year. Houston Dinkel has two top 15 players in #8 Cooper Kupp with 90 points and #15 Nick Chubb with 74.9 points carrying the flag. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett also ranks inside the Top 50 with 53.24 points. This is a heavyweight battle between two high profile teams looking to make a run early in the season. Will The Dictatorship keep up their undefeated streak, or will Houston Dinkel grab their third win of the season?
Leknid Lunatics (1-2) vs All 2 Whales (1-2)
Two teams moving in different directions. Leknid Lunatics features three quarterbacks inside the top 40 players on the year, but that's about to change. Joe Flacco currently resides at #18 with 71.64 points. #33 Baker Mayfield (58 points) and #38 Mac Jones (57.14 points) are two more high scoring players for this squad. But with injuries for Jones and the return to bench for Flacco, Leknid Lunatics will need to look to other role players to up the scoring, especially against All 2 Whales. All 2 Whales has two top fifteen players so far this season. Stefon Diggs ranks #4 with 103.4 points and is the top wide receiver on the year. Derek Carr sits at 14 with 76.6 points. Just outside the top 20 is Christian Kirk with 68.7 points. Leknid Lunatics snagged their first win of the season last week and will look to keep it rolling. All 2 Whales is spiraling and needs another win to get back on track. Who needs the win more this week?
Fowler's Heathens (1-2) vs STL House Centipedes (1-2)
Two teams coming off a loss - who gets back on track? Fowler's Heathens has only one player inside the top 40, rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson who has 56.2 points on the season. The next two highest ranked players are preseason #1 overall Jonathan Taylor (#52, 51.9 points), and veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, currently ranked #57 with 49.84 points). STL House Centipedes has two top 25 players in Trevor Lawrence (#19, 71.08 points) and Amari Cooper (#25, 62.9 points) and tight end Travis Kelce flirting with a top 30 ranking, coming in at #32 with 59.1 points. While the matchup looks favorable for STL House Centipedes, don't count Fowler's Heathens out yet.
Fueled By Ayahuasca (1-2) vs Dinkel 3.16 (3-0)
The undefeated top team vs a two loss team - must be nice. Fueled by Ayahuasca only has one player inside the top 25, with quarterback Justin Herbert ranking at #13 with 77.3 points on the season. The next two highest performing players are Marcus Mariota (#34, 57.8 points) and running back Aaron Jones coming in at #47 with 53.3 points on the early year. Dinkel 3.16 is fairing a bit better, and has yet to lose this season. They boast two top 15 players, with Josh Allen the clear #2 player in the league with 126.86 and Tyreek Hill just outside the top 10 with 78.3 points. Marquise Brown is a sneaky #28 with 60.1 points after three weeks. Dinkel 3.16 looks to continue their impressive undefeated streak, but Fueled By Ayahuasca won't go down without a fight.
Team Pup-N-Suds (2-1) vs Autodraft Bitches (1-2)
Both coming off much needed bounce back wins. Team Pup-N-Suds has two top 15 players with Patrick Mahomes currently ranked #7 with 96.28 points, and Joe Burrow at #12 with 77.78 points so far this year. Just missing the top 15 is Saquon Barkley (#16) having scored 73.8 points across the first three weeks. Autodraft Bitches has the top player in the league this year, as Lamar Jackson has scored 151.26 points. But when the next two top players on your team include #30 Jameis Winston (59.92 points) and #53 Drake London (#51.4 points), it's hard to see you grabbing a win this week. Autodraft Bitches has a steep hill to climb to topple Team Pup-N-Suds this week, but every so often David beats Goliath.
Ginger Lightning (2-1) vs SMILF (2-1)
Two teams moving in opposite directions - who comes out ahead? Ginger Lightning took their first loss of the season in Week 3, but looks to change that. And they have the players to do it, with three players in the top 10 of the league. Quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Carson Wentz rank fifth and sixth respectively, with Tua responsible for 102.1 points and Wentz another 97.14 points. Meanwhile, standout wide receiver Jaylen Waddle continues his sophomore campaign at #9 with 88.9 points. On the opposite side, SMILF gets to claim the third best player in the league, quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has scored 112.34 points across three weeks. Boasting two more top 25 players in Mark Andrews (#20, 69.8 points) and Jared Goff (#22, 66.42 points), this roster looks posed to make another run in the league. Both of these teams are stacked with talent, but only one can win. Can Ginger Lightning turn it around, or will SMILF continue rolling along?
Good luck in Week 4 to all teams!
