100% That Commish vs Doc Browns Toilet Bowl
It’s #2 vs #4 in this Week 5 matchup. While the #2 and Doc Browns Toilet Bowl jokes probably write themselves, this team is no joke. Where in past season, Doc Browns Toilet Bowl was often playing from behind, this season they sit at a respectable 3-2 with some impressive wins, including a blowout victory in Week 3. But they’ll be going up against 100% That Commish, who just had the biggest blowout win of the season in Week 5. This team will hope to cruise to victory yet again in Week 6, as 100% That Commish looks to continue a two week winning streak. It’s brother versus brother in this showdown that could shake up the top of the rankings.
Autodraft Bitches vs SMILF
It's first versus worst in this 1 and 12 matchup. Autodraft Bitches, after finally grabbing a win in Week 4, hit another roadblock in Week 5 with another loss, leaving them in the basement of the league. Autodraft Bitches finally saw both of their early round running backs produce in the way that we've been waiting for all season, but it still wasn't enough. They'll hope that they can get back to a win as they face off against the top team in the league. SMILF has looked vulnerable the past couple weeks, with a Week 4 loss and a close Week 5 victory firmly in the rearview mirror now. As Week 6 looms, SMILF has to hope that they can use this week's game against the bottom team in the league to firmly right the ship and get back to a strong season. It's a matchup that on paper looks pretty straightforward, but if the Jets can beat the Titans, then any underdog can win any given Sunday.
Captain Morgan vs Houston Dinkel
It's 6 versus 8 in this Week 6 matchup. Captain Morgan is on a two game winning streak going in to Week 6 after going winless in the first half of division play. Captain Morgan had a convincing win in Week 5 with an impressive 211 point showing that proved they have a strong lineup capable of bringing home the W. They're coming up against a Houston Dinkel team that just lost against the bottom team in the league and now sits firmly in the middle of the league with a 3-2 record. Houston Dinkel has all the pieces in place, but you have to wonder if their gamble of taking both Seahawks receivers may suffer now with the loss of Russell Wilson. Which team will come out victorious in Week 6?
DINKEL 3.16 vs Leknid Lunatics
It's another family showdown in this 3 vs 5 matchup. DINKEL 3.16 is riding a three game winning streak going in to Week 6. After a rough start to the season, DINKEL 3.16 has risen like a phoenix from the ashes to start running all over their opponents, including some blowout wins in Weeks 3 and 5. Meanwhile, Leknid Lunatics is coming off a tough Week 5 loss where victory was snatched from them at the last moment and they lost by less than 5 points. Leknid Lunatics won the Week 5 challenge with the dynamic quarterback play of Justin Herbert, and they'll hope that consolation prize will help give them the boost they need to pull out victory in Week 6 and stop that impressive win streak.
Ginger Lightning vs Keeping Up with the Jones'
It's a matchup between 9 and 7, but the rankings aren't an indicator of what this week means for these two teams. Ginger Lightning was embarrassed in Week 5, losing by over 110 points. The reigning league champion will need to hope that this was just an anomaly going in to Week 6. Ginger Lightning has been a force in this league since they joined in the 2019 season, but they currently sit third in their division for the first time ever. On the opposite side of the field, Keeping Up with the Jones' is also coming off a huge loss in Week 5, and are riding a three week losing streak. Keeping Up with the Jones' started off the season with a couple of impressive victories, but have floundered since then. Both of these teams need to develop a short term memory reminiscent of Mason Crosby and just keep grinding away and hope that this week is the game winning kick to get them back in the win column.
Team Pup-N-Suds vs The Dictatorship
It's 10 vs 11 in this Week 6 matchup between two of the founding members of the league. Team Pup-N-Suds has been hit by the injury bug once again, losing Russell Wilson in Week 5. Despite a 1-4 record, Team Pup-N-Suds faces a favorable matchup in Week 6 when they face off against The Dicatatorship. While The Dictatorship is sitting in the 11th spot in the league, they want to remind everyone that they were the underdog in Week 5 as well, and they won resoundingly over the then number two team. This isn't necessarily a Jaguars vs Lions situation, since both teams do have some wins on their records. But this matchup may be better suited to a Thursday night or early Sunday morning in London. At least both of these teams have some decent players, unlike the Falcons and Jets.
