Talk about a crazy Week 8! This week saw 5 upsets, including all top 4 teams from Week 7 losing. There's been a lot of reshuffling in the rankings after this week as the landscape of the season starts to become a little more clear. Let's take a look at the Week 7 matchups.

SMILF never trailed in this one after taking a 6.30-point lead on Thursday behind Mark Andrews. Geno Smith (23.08 points) and Antonio Gibson (20.7 points) carried the flag for The Dictatorship in the loss. SMILF (5-3) will look to maintain their momentum against Fowler's Heathens, while The Dictatorship (4-4) will try to generate some positive momentum against Dinkel 3.16.
Both teams rose to the occasion, but it was Ginger Lightning who came out on top, rolling to a 29.72 point win over Dinkel 3.16. It didn't take long to learn who would have the advantage in this matchup, as Ginger Lightning earned a 47.24-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind a combined 76.78 points from Tua Tagovailoa (41.18 points) and Jaylen Waddle (35.6 points). Tyreek Hill (37.5 points) and Travis Etienne Jr. (31.2 points) were the leaders for Dinkel 3.16 in defeat. Ginger Lightning (5-3) will look to add to their success against All 2 Whales, while Dinkel 3.16 (5-3) face The Dictatorship in an effort to right the ship.
STL House Centipedes showed up, cruising to a 20.14 point win over Captain Morgan. STL House Centipedes earned an early 16.40-point lead on Thursday. Captain Morgan came back to take the lead late afternoon Sunday, powered by Nyheim Hines (12.9 points) and Michael Pittman Jr. (12.3). Not to be deterred, STL House Centipedes got it going on Monday night with their back against the wall, as Amari Cooper (29.1 points) put them back ahead once and for all. STL House Centipedes (4-4) will look to maintain their winning ways against Fueled By Ayahuasca, while Captain Morgan (1-7) meet Autodraft Bitches in an effort to get back on track.
Fowler's Heathens extended their win streak to three games with a hard-fought victory over Car Ramrod, earning a 16.54 point win. Car Ramrod grabbed a 14.80-point lead on Thursday, but Fowler's Heathens held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Garrett Wilson (23.5 points) and Andy Dalton (21.16 points). The Dictatorship must not have logged in to check their lineups this week. Not only did they leave Noah Brown in at wide receiver despite being out with a foot injury, they also didn't move Kansas City out of the starting defense spot, even with Buffalo riding their bench all season just for this moment. Remember to check those lineups!

That team was STL House Centipedes, who benefited from 42.80 points from Alvin Kamara. Next week is the He's Got Legs and goes to the team with the best running back duo, regardless of roster position (running back or flex spot). If that had been the challenge this week, Fueled By Ayahuasca would have won with 67.4 points from Aaron Jones (24.7) and Tony Pollard (42.7).

Waiver Wire Adds
Between byes and injuries, there is a need for help on most teams. You may find some here.
QB -
It's finally happened. We have reached a point where there are no starting quarterbacks left on the waiver wire. Good job everyone.
WR - Darius Slayton, Terrace Marshall, Damiere Byrd
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5ba43a_520d320b3f764ed99d41692bd421673b~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_500,h_500,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/5ba43a_520d320b3f764ed99d41692bd421673b~mv2.png)
It took longer than anticipated to find a WR1 in New York, but Darius Slayton seems to have the position finally locked down. He led the Giants with 6 targets and 66 yards and has now topped 50 yards in three consecutive games. Terrace Marshall was 4-9 with 87 yards and is the number two receiver in Carolina. Damiere Byrd scored in Week 8 and is carving out a larger role in the Falcons offense with consecutive touchdowns.
RB - D'Ernest Johnson, Jamycal Hasty, Jaylen Warren
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5ba43a_fa1a0f5d6c40430883580852db18f993~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_500,h_500,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/5ba43a_fa1a0f5d6c40430883580852db18f993~mv2.png)
D'Ernest Johnson hasn't done much in Cleveland. But with Kareem Hunt possibly on the move, his workload could increase if the backfield changes. Jamycal Hasty is the new number two in Jacksonville and should see a slight uptick in usage. Jaylen Warren is the second back in Pittsburgh and may see more run moving forward.
TE - Kyle Pitts, Hayden Hurst
![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5ba43a_af6f56e50d3146d1abdf9359dbc676b9~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_500,h_500,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/5ba43a_af6f56e50d3146d1abdf9359dbc676b9~mv2.png)
Yes, Kyle Pitts is available this week. Coming off a game where he went 5-9 for 80 yards and a touchdown, Pitts will look to keep it rolling despite a run happy offense in Atlanta. Hayden Hurst was 4-4 and 42 yards in Week 8 and will be a factor for the Bengals while Ja'Marr Chase is out.
Week 9 brings us the biggest batch of teams on bye yet. After only two teams on bye last week, this week will see six teams getting a break. Plan accordingly!
